Life’To Lubię - signs short… eat cookies! Normally our favorite places are not located in the Old Town as they are often a bit commercial and touristic. But To Lubię, a cute and small coffee/tearoom in the heart of the Old Town you should not miss. ‘To Lubię’ means ‘I like it’ and we can perfectly see why. Their specialties are homemade cakes, pastries and cookies! We fully agree with their motto on the sign on the counter.

They always have new varieties, making it hard to pick a winner. One of our favorites is their interpretation of ‘szarlotka’ (apple pie), more like an apple crumble served right from the oven. The cookies are irresistible and temptingly presented on the counter. But not only the sweets are good here. They serve a big variety of teas in all tastes you can think of, or you can order the traditional hot chocolate (gorąca czekolada) and all kinds of coffees.

The two-story place, situated in a picturesque church tower next to St. Jack church on Freta, is small, cozy and often crowded. The best place to sit is downstairs, where you find three tables and two romantic window seats, or of course outside on their terrace in the sun. On the upper floor you will find more tables and with the wooden floor the atmosphere is very nice here as well.

Be sure you don’t miss this delicious stop on your walking tour through the Old Town!
